Hundred Acre Woods
About
Hundred Acre Woods was established in 1997, here in Iowa City. It started in a small house and expanded into the building on Scott Ct in 1999. We have recently remodeled the lower level and playground from the Iowa Expansion Grant. We added an Infant room and a larger area for our Before and After School program. We have a capacity of 91 but try to keep it smaller to give it a more family friendly atmosphere.
We are licensed through the stat of Iowa.
Mission
Hundred Acre Woods is committed to give your child the best care possible. We strive to treat each of our kids as if they were our own. We follow DHS guidelines while incorporating a family atmosphere.
We want you to feel confident knowing your kids are safe and well cared for.
QRS
Quality Rating Schedule
Hundred Acre Woods participates in the Quality Rating Scale. Currently we are at a level 3.
QRS is a way to separate the quality of each child care center, through trainings and education.
CACFP
Hundred Acre Woods participates in the Federal Food Program. This program requires menus that are mandated by the CACFP. It also allows children to receive free or reduced lunch and snack, if qualified. This enables us to serve everyone good nutritious meals and snacks with no cost to our families.
